Hello, could you confirm - if indeed you know - that the Manor House became a home for disabled children around the 1950s? One of my brothers was here from the the 1950s. I remember from our visits there were two lions (I think) at the main door entrance of the house. A very sad place, to see so many children with disabilities who were not living at home - I hope it wouldn't happen now - but the satff were very kind, I recall. I gather that it became a hospital & was demolished & replaced with modern hospital buildings. If this is the correct place I'll order some prints.
